The Transgaumaise bike tour is a splendid 173 km loop that takes you through the Gaume region, also known as “Belgium’s Little Provence” thanks to its sunny microclimate. It takes you on nature trails through some of the most beautiful villages in Belgian Lorraine, such as Torgny. You’ll also pass through France and discover some of the region’s treasures, such as the Notre-Dame d’Avioth basilica.<\/p>\n
Take a tour of the Gaume via its winding roads, and soak up the warmth of the region on a loop tour starting and finishing in Latour (Virton). These 3 stages will give you the chance to hear the cicadas, watch the sun set over the vines and admire the rounded roof tiles of typical southern Belgian villages. Along the way, discover also the citadel of Montm\u00e9dy, the church of Avioth, the abbey of Orval or the Renaissance houses of the village of Marville.<\/p>\n
