You’ll start your adventure in Matera, famous for its Sassi, troglodyte dwellings listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The next day, you’ll set off for Alberobello, the capital of trulli, those charming dry-stone buildings with their conical roofs. Pedaling through the Murgia, you’ll enjoy landscapes dotted with olive groves and vineyards. In Cisternino, don’t miss the delicious “bombette”, a local meat speciality.
