In the Great Forest of Saint-Hubert – Stay in a B&B

During this stay, you’ll discover the Grande Forêt de Saint-Hubert, land of deer, forests and legends; an unmissable destination for a nature and discovery break. The Great Forest of Saint-Hubert covers 100,000 hectares, more than half of which is covered by forests! There are 8 municipalities: Wellin, Tellin, Libin, Libramont-Chevigny, Saint-Hubert, Tenneville, Nassogne and Sainte-Ode. You will have the opportunity to do different hikes or bike rides but also to visit the charming town of Saint-Hubert and its famous basilica.

You will stay in our Europ’Aventure gite which welcomes walkers and families up to 5 people. This small house consists on the first floor of a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a toilet. On the 1st floor you will find a bathroom, two double rooms and a single room. The lodge also has free high-speed WiFi access, a flat-screen cable TV and babyfoot. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and a microwave. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The gîte is located 5 minutes walk from the center of Saint-Hubert, its basilica, its shops and restaurants but also 5 minutes from the hiking trails.

Welcome in Saint-Hubert in the afternoon and check-in at the lodge. Possibility to visit the village

Day 2-9

Saint-Hubert

Even if hiking remains the best way to enjoy nature, you can choose your activities among the many possibilities offered by the region (Parc à Gibier, Fourneau Saint-Michel, Mudia, Bastogne War Museum,…). We will provide you with a hiking map of the area!

Practical information

Welcome: Day 1, late afternoon. The check-in at the gite is a self check-in. You will find the folder with all the information for the stay on the living room table.

Check-out: Check-out must take place before 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Supervision: walking without a guide. You will receive different proposals for a loop hike in the region.

Accommodation: Private gîte accommodation. You will have the whole house to yourself. No breakfast or evening meal included!

Access: possible by car (free parking for the duration of your stay right in front of the gîte) or by public transport: Train (Poix Saint-Hubert station) + Bus (TEC).

Dogs: Dogs are not normally allowed on this trip. Exception on demand!

Dates

The stay can be arranged at your convenience and departures are possible all year round. Please note: October 1st to December 31st is the hunting season. Some areas may therefore be inaccessible depending on the hunting schedule.

The gîte can accommodate up to 5 people and can be rented for one night or more (except for school vacations). Below are the prices for the 2024 season.
