The Grand Tour between Lesse and Lomme

Program

Day 1

Daverdisse
Reception in Daverdisse in the afternoon and handing over of the complete file. You can already discover the area and ask us for advice if you want to plan a short hike around the accommodation on the day of your arrival. You will be accommodated in Redu if you come with your dog or if the Daverdisse accommodation is closed. Evening meal included.

Day 2

Lesse – Redu (20 km; +450 m)
After breakfast, you must make your own way to the start of the hike (+/- 7 minutes by car). You must leave your car in the official parking lot next to the village of Redu. You then reach the small village of Lesse along a signposted, gently sloping path. From the Lesse bivouac, follow the marked route (green square). You first follow the Lesse river before taking a path through the woods. At the end of the stage, you must leave the route at Les Sartais to walk to the hotel in Redu via the village link.

Day 3

Redu – Poix-Saint-Hubert (19 km; +300 m)
After breakfast, you set off on foot from the hotel to join the route marked out by the same connection you used the day before. You then continue on the “Grand Tour” towards the village of Smuid, although the route avoids the villages and keeps you mainly in the forest. You leave the itinerary just after Smuid to take the direction of Poix-Saint-Hubert. Arrival at the hotel on foot.

Day 4

Poix-Saint-Hubert – Ochamps (21 km; +475 m)
From Poix-Saint-Hubert, you reach the marked route on foot. This section stretches between Sainte-Adeline and Château de Ronfè, where you leave the route to reach the village of Ochamps. There is no accommodation in the village of Ochamps, so a short transfer to the accommodation is organized at the end of the stage (included in the price). The Europ’Aventure car will be waiting for you in front of the Ochamps church. If you don’t want a car transfer during your stay, please note that you can request to stay overnight in Libramont. You can then walk back to your accommodation, but this will make the next day’s stage longer.

Day 5

Ochamps – Lesse (24 km; +295 m)
After breakfast, you’ll be taken back to the start of the stage in front of Ochamps church. You walk between the Route de Jehonville and Lesse. When you arrive in Lesse, you’ve completed the full tour. You then head back up the path towards the parking lot, where you pick up your car. Possibility to stay an extra night in a local accommodation.
