Day 2
Sainte-Ode – The Girolle Trail (17.8 km)
To start your stay, we propose you “Le sentier de la Girolle” (The Girolle Trail): a route without major difficulties except for two long climbs. It passes through a dozen villages and hamlets without woods or forests, so you hike “open air”. So remember to equip yourself accordingly.
Day 3
Sainte-Ode – The Cèpe de Bordeaux Trail (26.8 km)
For this day, you will take a road that follows the Girolle trail for 5 km and then splits off at the local road in Amberloup. It then reaches the village of Lavacherie, crosses it to reach the Chapelle de la Bonne Dame, then crosses the Freyr forest towards Tonny and Tillet. The course, which is very diversified, takes place for a good part in the forest.
Day 4
Sainte-Ode – The Agaric Trail (17.8 km)
On this day, you hike on the route that brings the most diversity. The “Agaric Trail”, which takes place both under cover and in the open, linking roads and dirt tracks. It offers splendid views of the 4 villages it passes through.
Day 5
Sainte-Ode – The Lepiote Trail (25.5 km)
From a visual point of view, this circuit is the most pleasant. You hike in the Laval valley, and the discovery of 9 villages keeps you in the rhythm of the hike. The distance of the day’s stage requires a long-lasting effort, rewarded by a bucolic landscape.
Day 6
Sainte-Ode – Le sentier du Coprin (16.3 km)
To end your hiking stay in the Ourthe and Laval Valleys, you follow the shortest route of the permanent circuit. As far as Morhet, it largely crosses the woods. Then you pass through two villages and a hamlet before reaching Beauplateau. End of the stay after the hike.
