Finisher Medal – Transardennaise – 153 km
Description
Finisher Medal – Transardennaise – 153 km
The GTA itinerary that is among our greatest favourites is certainly “La Transardennaise”, because this is the route that started the adventure!
Created in the 1980s, “La Transardennaise” is the first major GTA (Grande Traversée des Ardennes) hiking route through the Ardennes: a walking route marked with GTA signs (yellow and white) linking La Roche-en-Ardenne to Bouillon, passing through Saint-Hubert and Nassogne.
Considered as one of the most beautiful hiking routes in Belgium, the walking route is marked with the GTA’s signature colors, yellow and white, along its 153 kilometers. It is an itinerary to discover the beauty of the Ardennes: its different valleys (here those of the Ourthe, Laval, Lesse and Semois), emblematic sites (La Roche-en-Ardenne, Saint-Hubert, Bouillon…), picturesque villages (Mirwart, Redu, Our, Daverdisse…) and the great forests of the Ardenne.
