What does the level of difficulty mean? How fit do I need to be to enjoy my trip?

< 1 Lecture minimale

At Europ’Aventure, all our trips are classified according to three levels of difficulty to help you choose the itinerary best suited to your physical condition and experience:

  • Easy: ideal for beginners, families with children or those wishing to hike at a gentle pace. Short stages, low gradient, accessible terrain.
  • Moderate: for hikers in good physical condition. Longer, more varied stages, with a few climbs, but accessible with a little practice.
  • Difficult: reserved for experienced hikers in excellent physical condition. Long stages, steep gradients, sometimes technical terrain.

The level of difficulty is indicated in each holiday description on our website (e.g. GR16 – Sentier de la Semois: moderate / Transardennaise complète: moderate to difficult). If you have any doubts, our team is here to advise you and guide you towards the holiday that best suits your abilities and desires.
