What should I take with me on my hiking trip?

< 1 Lecture minimale

To make the most of your stay, it’s essential to bring clothing and equipment suited to the activity you’ve chosen (hiking, biking, snowshoeing…), the season and the weather conditions.

Here is a basic list that we recommend:

  • Comfortable hiking or cycling boots that are well suited to your activity,
  • Technical clothing: breathable, comfortable, quick-drying,
  • A waterproof or windproof jacket, essential in case of rain or wind,
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat, depending on the season,
  • Your charger and an external battery for your electronic devices,
  • Your identity documents (ID card, passport, etc.), valid depending on your destination.

For day hikes, pack a lightweight rucksack of around 15 liters to carry your personal belongings (water, snacks, change of clothes…). This bag should not exceed 7 kg for optimum comfort.

A complete, personalized list will be sent to you in your roadbook as soon as your booking is confirmed. To take things a step further, we’ve also included a blog post with practical tips on how to prepare for your hike.
