Head off in Willy’s jeep to explore the Ardennes villages along one of the historical circuits of the Battle of the Bulge. Willy’s jeep is a real myth: a legendary vehicle with a prestigious past, a player in our contemporary history
The routes proposed start either from the accommodation in Sainte-Ode, or from place McAuliffe in Bastogne, heading towards the sites and monuments of the Second World War (maximum three people in the jeep).
Two-hour circular route: this route goes past the Bastogne War Museum, the Bois de la Paix (Peace Wood), the Bois Jacques (Jacques’ Wood, known for its foxholes). Via Recogne and its German cemetery, you will reach place de Bastogne to visit the Airborne Museum and the Bastogne Barracks at your leisure.
Four-hour circular route: an invitation to explore the village of Sainlez from Bastogne, and its Museum of Civilian Remembrance 1940 – 1945. Passing through the villages of Lutrebois and Villers-la-Bonne-Eau, you reach the centre of Bastogne.
